Ingredients

  • 2 slices wheat bread
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 egg white
  • 1/3 cup milk ((any kind))
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon ((optional))
  • 2 Tbsp goat cheese
  • 4 -6 fresh strawberries ((sliced))
  • Honey ((optional))

Steps

  1. Preheat griddle to medium.

  2. Whisk eggs, milk, vanilla, and cinnamon in a shallow dish.

  3. Dip bread into mixture and place on lightly greased hot griddle. Drizzle remaining 'batter' on top of bread.

  4. Cook until well-browned on each side, about 2 minutes.

  5. Remove and plate. Top immediately with goat cheese, strawberries, and a drizzle of honey.
