Ingredients

8 servings
  • 2 pounds precooked meatballs, (I used Italian meatballs)
  • 3 (14.5-ounce) cans Italian stewed tomatoes

  • 4 tablespoons tomato paste
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon thyme
  • ½ teaspoon oregano
  • ½ teaspoon lemon juice
  • ¼ teaspoon sugar

Steps

  1. In a blender pour the tomatoes, tomato sauce, tomato paste, Italian seasoning, garlic, thyme, oregano, sugar, and lemon juice. Blend until the sauce is smooth.

  2. Place the meatballs on the bottom of a crockpot and pour the sauce over the top of the meatballs.

  3. Cook on HIGH for 4 hours or LOW for about 5-6 hours, until meatballs are heated through.

  4. Serve over some cooked pasta and enjoy!
