Ingredients

4 servings
  • 12 ounces frozen peaches
  • 2 (3 inch) cinnamon sticks
  • 1/4 cup light brown sugar
  • 1/8 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons bourbon, I used Maker's Mark ((optional))

Steps

  1. Combine the peaches, cinnamon sticks, brown sugar, salt, water, and bourbon in a slow-cooker. 

  2. Cover with lid and cook on HIGH for 3-5 hours, until the peaches are soft and the liquid has thickened into a light syrup.

  3. Serve immediately or transfer the peaches and liquid to a clean jar, or another airtight container. Refrigerate until ready to serve. Enjoy!
