Ingredients

12 servings
  • 12 Hawaiian rolls (or dinner rolls or slider buns)
  • 1 cup pizza sauce (divided)
  • 4 ounces mini pepperoni (or regular pepperoni slices, quartered)
  • 8 ounces shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 4 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese (divided)
  • ½ teaspoon dried oregano
  • 3 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F. Line a baking dish or baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. In a small bowl, combine melted butter, dried parsley, onion powder, and garlic powder. Set aside.

  3. Cut the rolls in half, separating the top and bottom. Spread ½ cup pizza sauce over the bottom half of the rolls.

  4. Top with pepperoni slices, mozzarella cheese, 2 tablespoons Parmesan cheese, and oregano.

  5. Place the top half of the rolls on the cheese and gently brush the butter mixture overtop. Sprinkle with the remaining Parmesan cheese.

  6. Bake uncovered for 18-22 minutes or until the cheese has melted and the tops are lightly browned.

  7. Serve with the remaining pizza sauce for dipping.
