Pico de Gallo Recipe
Pico de gallo is a fresh salsa made from diced tomatoes, onion, and peppers, perfect for tacos, burritos, or to eat with chips!

- 4 medium ripe tomatoes (chopped)
- 1/2 cup finely chopped white onion
- 1 -2 jalapeño or serrano pepper (seeded and finely chopped)
- 1/4 cup finely chopped fresh cilantro leaves (no stems)
- 2 tbsp fresh lime juice
- kosher salt and pepper (to taste)
- 2 tbsp chopped red bell pepper ((optional))
- 1 clove garlic (minced (optional))
Steps
In a bowl combine all ingredients.
Let it marinate in the refrigerator at least an hour for best results.
