Ingredients

16 servings
  • 8 oz Manchego Cheese (sliced)
  • 3 Tbsp fig spread or preserves (about 1/2 tsp per slice)
  • 2 -3 oz prosciutto (about 1/4 slice per appetizer)

Steps

  1. Trim the ends of your manchego cheese to remove the rind if present. Keep the back rind on the cheese which will be used as a handle for serving the cheese. Cut your cheese into thin triangles and arrange them on a serving platter.

  2. Add about 1/2 tsp of the fig preserves over the thicker wider part of the cheese slice.

  3. Fold a piece of prosciutto into a ribbon and set that over the preserves. Serve right away or cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.
