Ingredients

12 servings
  • 1 (12-ounce) package Hawaiian sweet dinner rolls (such as King’s Hawaiian)
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise (or plain Greek yogurt)
  • 1 ½ tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 12 ounces leftover turkey slices
  • 1 ⅔ cups cooked stuffing
  • 1 cup cranberry sauce
  • 1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese (provolone, cheddar, or Havarti cheese, divided)
  • 6 tablespoons unsalted butter (melted)
  • 2 teaspoons poppyseeds

Steps

  1. Place a rack in the center of your oven and preheat to 350°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. Without disconnecting the buns at their sides, slice the slider buns in half horizontally. Spread the bottom half with mayo (or Greek yogurt) and the top half with mustard.

  3. Layer on the turkey, then the stuffing (smush it a bit so it sticks together), then the cranberry sauce, then top with the cheese. Add the top buns to complete the sliders. Transfer to the prepared baking sheet.

  4. In a small bowl, combine the melted butter and poppyseeds. Spread all over the top.

  5. Bake until the cheese is melty, or about 20 minutes—at the 10-minute mark, check and make sure the tops are not browning too quickly; if they are loosely tent with foil and continue baking. Transfer to a cutting board and let cool a few minutes. Carefully slice apart, and serve.
