- 3 oz hot water (175ºF, about 1/3 cup)
Steps
Sift the matcha into a small bowl.
Pour in 1 ounce (2 tablespoons) of hot water into the bowl. Use a matcha whisk to mix gently into a smooth paste.
Pour in the remaining hot water and whisk vigorously in a zig zag motion until frothy.
