How To Freeze Peaches

Ingredients
- 1 pound ripe peaches
- juice of half a lemon
Steps

Bring a large pot to a boil. Slice the 1 pound ripe peaches in half and carefully put them into the pot of boiling water. Boil for 1 minute until the skin is loose.

Place the peaches in an ice bath to stop the cooking process. Peel the peaches and slice them into about 8 slices each. Toss in a bowl with the juice of half a lemon.

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Lay the peaches in a single layer onto the baking sheet. Freeze for 4 hours or overnight until they are completely solid.

Transfer from the sheet and put into a freezer-safe gallon size bag to freeze.
