Ingredients

8 servings
  • 1 pound chicken wings (flats & drumettes)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ¼ cup hot honey (*see notes)

Steps

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F. Dab the wings dry.

  2. In a large bowl, toss the wings with olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.

  3. Place the wings in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Cook for 18 minutes.

  4. After 18 minutes, remove the wings from the air fryer and toss them with hot honey.

  5. Place a piece of parchment paper or non-stick foil in the bottom of the air fryer basket. Add the sauced wings back in the air fryer basket and cook for an additional 2 to 3 minutes.

  6. Let rest a few minutes before serving (the sauce will be very hot right after cooking). Serve with additional hot honey for dipping.
