Ingredients

4 servings
  • 1 lb (500g) Brussels sprouts
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon Pompeian Organic Balsamic Vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon tahini (optional)
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons Pompeian Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)

Steps

  1. Trim the stems of the Brussels sprouts and slice them in half.

  2. In a small bowl, add the honey, Pompeian Organic Balsamic Vinegar, tahini (if using), and salt. Whisk until well combined. Set aside.

  3. Heat a skillet over medium heat. Add the olive oil and sauté the garlic until light brown. Place the Brussels sprouts flat-side down and cook until the surface turns golden brown. Flip and cook the other side.

  4. Add the honey balsamic mixture to the skillet and stir to coat the Brussels sprouts evenly. Once the mixture thickens, turn off the heat and serve immediately.
