  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • ¼ teaspoon salt (more to taste)
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • thinly sliced fresh basil leaves (for serving, optional)
