Ingredients

2 servings
  • 2 oz (60g) soba noodles
  • salt and pepper (to taste)
  • 1 teaspoon sesame seeds (lightly toasted)
  • chopped scallion (for garnishing)
  • 2 teaspoons soy sauce
  • ½ teaspoon ginger (minced)
  • 2 teaspoons sesame oil
  • ½ teaspoon chili oil
  • ½ teaspoon rice wine (vinegar)
  • 2 teaspoons honey
  • salt and pepper (to taste)

Steps

  1. Combine all the ingredients for the Sweet Ginger Sauce in a bowl and set aside.

  2. Cook the soba noodles according to the package instructions. Drain thoroughly and rinse under cold water.

  3. Add the sauce and sesame seeds, then toss the noodles thoroughly. Garnish with chopped scallions and serve immediately.
