Fried Rice Fish Ball

Ingredients

1 servings
  • 150 g cooked rice
  • 2 tbsp cooking oil
  • 50 g mixed vegetables
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tsp light soy sauce
  • 1 tsp sweet soy sauce
  • 1/2 tsp sesame oil
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 1/4 tsp MSG (optional)
  • 1/2 tsp chicken powder
  • 1 egg
  • 3 fish balls (sliced)
  • 2 cloves garlic (finely chopped)
  • 2 bird’s eye chilies

Steps

  1. Heat 2 tablespoons of cooking oil in a pan or wok over medium heat.

  2. Add the chopped garlic and bird’s eye chili, sauté until fragrant.

  3. Add sliced fish balls, cook until slightly golden.

  4. Push everything to one side of the pan and crack in 1 egg. Scramble it until half-cooked.

  5. Add the mixed vegetables and stir well.

  6. Add the cooked rice and mix throughly with other ingredients.

  7. Season with oyster sauce, light soy sauce, sweet soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, pepper, msg, and chicken powder.

  8. Stir-fry for 2–3 minutes until all ingredients are well combined.

  9. Taste and adjust the seasoning if needed.

  10. Serve hot with lettuce, cucumber, tomato slices, and crackers on the side.
