Ingredients

  • 8 cups frozen cut green beans (thawed (2 lbs))
  • 21 ounces condensed cream of mushroom soup ((2 cans))
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 teaspoons soy sauce
  • ¾ teaspoon black pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon seasoned salt (or to taste)
  • 3 cups crispy fried onions (divided)

Steps

  1. Combine thawed green beans with soup, milk, soy sauce, pepper, seasoning salt, and 2 cups of crispy onions in a 6qt slow cooker.

  2. Cook on low for 2 ½ to 3 hours or until beans are tender.

  3. Once cooked through, turn the slow cooker to warm.

  4. In a dry non-stick skillet, pan-fry the remaining crispy fried onions over medium heat, stirring frequently until lightly toasted.

  5. Sprinkle fried onions on top just before serving.
