Brussels Sprouts with Bacon and Apple
A delicious side dish recipe of Brussels Sprouts with added goodies!

- 3 slices bacon, (cut into ½-inch pieces)
- 8 cups brussels sprouts, (trimmed)
- coarse salt and freshly ground black pepper, (to taste)
- 1 medium red apple, (cored and cut into ¼ inch slices (then chopped))
- 2 teaspoons red wine vinegar
Steps
Preheat the oven to 425°F.
Arrange the bacon in a single layer on a large rimmed baking sheet. Bake until browned, 10 minutes. Add the brussels sprouts in a single layer; sprinkle with salt and pepper. Roast until they begin to brown, about 15 minutes.
Remove from the oven, add the apple and toss together. Return to the oven; roast until the brussels sprouts are browned and tender and the apple has softened, 10 to 15 minutes.
Toss the vegetables with vinegar, and serve immediately.
