  • 2 cloves garlic (smashed and minced (jarred kind is ok))
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 pinch nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 cup shredded Parmesan cheese (optional)
  • 2 teaspoons milk (for brushing pie crust)
