  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 4 large cloves garlic (minced)
  • 2 tablespoons fresh ginger (minced)
  • 3 tablespoons light brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • ½ cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 2 -4 teaspoons  chili paste (plus more, if desired)
  • ¼ teaspoon kosher salt (ONLY if needed, taste first)
  • ¾ cup frozen peas (OPTIONAL)
  • 4 g reen onions (sliced thin)
