  • 1 (14-ounce) can reduced sodium beef broth
  • 1 (14-ounce) can tomato sauce
  • 8 ounces whole wheat elbow (mini shells, or similar short pasta)
  • 2 ounces reduced-fat cream cheese (Neufchatel, at room temperature, cut into a few pieces)
  • ¼ cup freshly grated Parmesan
  • 3 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
