Fresh Peach Ice Cream

• 1½ pounds peaches ((peeled, pitted and sliced- save the pits and the peels!)))
• 2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lemon juice
• 2 cups heavy whipping cream
• 1 cup whole milk
• One 1-inch piece vanilla bean, (split lengthwise)
• 4 large egg yolks
• ¾ cup granulated white sugar
• ½ cup light corn syrup
