• 1 cup shortening (I used butter flavored shortening)
• 1 cup sugar
• 2 eggs
• 1 cup mashed bananas
• 1/2 cup buttermilk
• 1 tsp vanilla
• 3 cups Flour
• 1 1/2 tsp baking soda
• 1/2 tsp salt
• 1 cup nuts (opt)
• 4 ounces unsalted butter softened
• 4 ounces cream cheese (softened)
• 2 cups powdered sugar
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
